Because attendance figures, positive feedback and well-written policies only tell us part of the story. They don't necessarily tell us whether people are behaving differently, whether workplace experiences are improving, or whether meaningful change is taking place.
That's why I've developed Measuring What Matters – People, Culture & Inclusion Impact Framework, a practical, accessible resource to help organisations look beyond participation and start evaluating real impact.
The framework offers a straightforward approach to understanding:
- Learning: What have people learned, and how has their confidence developed?
- Behaviour: What are people actually doing differently?
- Experience: Are colleagues noticing positive changes in their everyday working lives?
- Outcomes: What difference is this making to individuals, teams and the wider organisation?
- Sustainability: How can we make sure improvements last?
