Breakout Activity One: #ViableVisibleVoices – Networks
(10-minutes)
- The person born earliest in the year will be the leader.
2. The leader will decide on a speaker who will feedback to the whole group, when we return to the Main Room.
3. If you prefer not to be the speaker, please select another member of the team.
4. Please make sure that all voices are heard
Your leader will guide the team through these questions:
Viable
What is your potential to grow or function effectively and efficiently?
Visible
Do people know you exist?
How are you seen by the organisation?
Do you have a seat at the table?
Voices
Do you work intersectionally to deliver change?
Do you collaborate with others to amplify a community of blended voices to deliver progressive change?
Breakout Activity Two: What does it mean to be a Network Chair? (5-minutes)
- The person who was born latest in the year will be the leader.
2. The leader will decide on a speaker who will feedback to the whole group, when we return to the Main Room.
3. Please make sure that all voices are heard.
Your leader will guide you through each of the following questions:
• What makes a good leader?
• Do you know any good leaders and, if so, what do they do differently?
• What is key to becoming a successful Network Chair?
Breakout Activity Three: #ViableVisibleVoices – Organisation
(10-minutes)
Instructions
- The leader for this discussion will be the person whose first name is first alphabetically.
2. Facilitate an open discussion on the questions below.
3. The leader will decide on a speaker who will feedback to the whole group, when we return to the Main Room.

Is the network constantly or frequently in the line of sight of Senior Leaders?
What opportunities do they offer for your network to be visible?

Instructions
As Teams are from different Networks, this activity is for practice only.
Agree the status for each theme, then write a concise summary clarifying this decision.
RAG Definitions
🟢 Green – Embedded / Effective
Definition: Activity is consistent, embedded, and delivering clear, measurable impact. Strong engagement and ownership are evident.
🟠 Amber – Developing / In Progress
Definition: Clear activity is underway with some positive signs, but consistency, reach, or impact is not yet fully realised.
🔴 Red – Early / At Risk
Definition: Activity is limited, inconsistent, or not yet embedded. There may be intent, but little evidence of delivery or impact.
